F115

Yamaha has been leading the way in the F115 horsepower four-stroke category for over ten years, with exceptional models that have proven the true value and versatility that a four-stroke outboard can deliver Australian boaters. We must say the F130 has become a more popular engine since it’s introduction.

With its increased engine capacity and a weight reduction of 15kg, the latest generation Yamaha F115 offers the best power-to-weight performance in its class – while maintaining an extremely fuel efficient and smooth operation that Yamaha four-strokes are famous for.

This engine utilises a 16 valve, dual overhead camshaft design, electronic fuel injection and big bore throttle body to deliver awesome acceleration and mid-range responsiveness.

Light, compact and incredibly versatile the new F130 has set new benchmarks for weight and performance in the mid-range horsepower market and carries on Yamaha’s proud heritage of exceptional saltwater 130 horsepower engines.

This outboard was designed with Australian boaters in mind and delivers awesome acceleration and mid-range responsiveness as well as incredible fuel efficiency.

This proven 1.8 litre, 16 valve, Double Overhead Camshaft, four-stroke engine features large intake and exhaust valves for efficient transfer of fuel and exhaust. The single electronic throttle valve allows for precise throttle movements to deliver exceptional response.

F150 DEC

The new F150 DEC sees Yamaha’s premium Digital Electronic Control (DEC) technology, previously only seen on Yamaha’s big horsepower range, introduced to the popular 150 horsepower segment.

This ‘fly-by-wire’ control delivers extremely smooth and precise throttle operation, for a more enjoyable and effortless boating experience.

The larger 2.8 litre displacement of the F150 DEC, delivers increased low and mid-range torque, helping to get up on the plane quicker and with less effort.

The F150 DEC is fully compatible with Yamaha’s new CL7 touchscreen multi-function gauge, delivering GPS navigation and mapping, graphing and fish finder functionality.

This gauge is also NMEA2000 compliant, providing full connectivity to third party marine equipment such as sonar, radar, camera and all leading display brands.

With its narrow 600mm mounting centres, the F175 is ideal for twin engine applications and has been engineered to operate Yamaha’s Shift Dampener System (SDS) propellers, resulting in smooth shifting, vibration-free operation, and reduced overall noise. The smallest of these big displacement power plants is the extremely lightweight and powerful F225. With Yamaha’s multipoint electronic fuel injection system, variable camshaft timing and electronically controlled throttle valve, resulting in improved overall performance.

The F250 Yamaha Four Stroke Engine delivers the latest technology with unequalled big V6 power performance, ensuring you will have the muscle to handle the most extreme offshore environments.

This new F250 weighing in at only 253kgs has a 4.2 litre, big bore V6 offshore outboard has the largest capacity in its class while. These are the first outboards in the world to feature sleeveless cylinders employ plasma fusion technology. This produces cylinders that are lighter, more heat-resistant, abrasion-resistant and recyclable. This unbelievable power-to-weight ratio is achieved using this innovative plasma-fused sleeveless cylinder design, which greatly reduces the overall cylinder weight while achieving increased engine capacity.

The innovations don’t just stop there. This exceptional outboard includes all of Yamaha’s latest technologies including an electronically controlled throttle valve, variable camshaft timing and digital electronic controls.

F300 V6

The 300hp 4-stroke outboard motor provides high performance in packages designed to be the lightest outboards in the 225 to 300hp classes. These models achieve class-leading performance, lightness and compactness. Various Yamaha Motor technologies were incorporated to give good fuel economy, convenience, and environmental friendliness.

The newly developed DOHC power unit has a 4,169cm3 displacement and a 60ー V-6 cylinder format and 24 valves. It pumps out exceptional power and speed with outstanding fuel economy, plus the Yamaha reliability.

The electric system utilizes the highest 70-ampere output alternator in its class, a handy feature which can help power today’s wide array of onboard electronic devices. Yamaha’s exclusive new smooth shift dampener system greatly reduces noise commonly associated with shifting gears.

The digital gauge offers a lot of information to the operator to help provide effective and easy operation. The LCD screen can display speed, engine speed, trim position, cooling water temperature and pressure, oil pressure, fuel flow, battery voltage, shift position, clock, engine synchronization, warning, diagnosis and so on.
